The Kindergarten Team from Slovenia on a One-Day Trip to the Soča Valley

We were delighted to welcome the kindergarten team from Slovenia on their professional excursion, show them the old part of Tolmin, and treat them to local cheese. Their impressions were truly wonderful:

“Our visit to Tolmin was truly magical. The weather was perfect – the sun accompanied us all day, yet it wasn’t too hot. The curator and the guide were very kind, cheerful, and full of interesting and useful information about Tolmin itself. The Tolmin Gorges are a landmark that everyone should see, as we simply couldn’t stop admiring such natural beauty. The highlight at the end was the authentic Tolmin “frika”, which was introduced and prepared for us – and it was delicious.

In short, everything we experienced was amazing, and we were surrounded by friendly people the entire day. We had an unforgettable time. Our colleagues also said it was one of the most beautiful professional excursions they’ve ever been on. Thank you for your kindness and help.”  Mario P.

We sincerely thank them for their pleasant visit and kind words — we’re happy they had such a wonderful day with us!

Cheese Tasting in Tolmin

For a Croatian agency and their clients, we organized a local cheese-tasting experience in Tolmin. Cheese making in the Soča Valley has a rich history that dates back centuries, when local farmers began producing Swiss-style full-fat cheese in the mountain pastures where cattle were gathered for the summer season. This traditional cheese, known as Tolminc, is still crafted in the same mountain pastures today. Additionally, the northern part of the valley is renowned for its goat cheese, made from the endemic Drežniška goats and other local goat varieties.

New Cycling Routes in the Benečija Region

In partnership with DMO Turismo Benečija, we developed new cycling routes for mountain bikers and road cyclists, connecting the Soča Valley with the Benečija region. We determined suitable routes for cyclists and equipped the routes WITH GPX guides to be available available on maps and also as GPX files. Three of these routes are set to be presented at the London Trade Fair in November 2024 (05.-07.11.2024). WTM World London 2024 is a leading global event for the travel industry.

The Soča Valley offers a diverse network of cycling paths, from mountain trails in the Julian Alps to road biking routes on secondary roads, providing breathtaking views from the Alps to the Adriatic Sea. The new routes will be fully launched in winter 2024, effectively doubling the cycling options in the region.
