Getting there?
From Tolmin, it’s approximately a 20-minute drive to the Kolovrat outdoor museum parking area at the start of the trail. No public transport.

PARKING

You can leave your car at the parking lot near Outdoor museum at Kolovrat.

Set in a beautiful natural landscape, it offers stunning views stretching from the Adriatic Sea to the Julian Alps. Kolovrat lies directly on the border between Slovenia and Italy, making it a place where nature, history, and cultures meet.

LIMITATIONS

The experience is not suitable for wheelchair users due to the terrain. An open-air museum is located in nature, with walking paths, caves, and wartime bunkers.
